An immersive exhibition centered on Yayoi Kusama’s All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins, an Infinity Mirror Room that transformed her signature visual language of repetition and polka dots into a multidimensional, participatory experience. Infinitely Kusama invited visitors to become part of the artwork itself, using reflection, light, repetition, and infinity to create a highly personal experience while exploring Kusama’s life, artistic practice, and groundbreaking approach to immersive art.
My Role
I led the content and interpretive development for the exhibition, establishing the educational goals and guiding the development of all active and passive interpretive experiences. I translated Kusama’s artistic practice, creative process, and personal story into accessible opportunities for visitors to explore, participate, and make meaning through multiple modes of engagement. I led the development of the interpretive tools and worked across teams to create a cohesive experience that complemented the Infinity Mirror Room and extended the experience beyond the installation itself.
